This is a series of interviews that James Nottingham made with Carol Dweck in 2010. It covers Dweck’s research about praise, feedback, competition, high expectations and talents.

This short animation shows how the learning challenge (also referred to as The Learning Pit) can be used to challenge all students to make outstanding progress.
3. Philosophy for Children (P4C) with 3 year olds
This video shows James Nottingham working with a group of 3 year olds. In it they are using P4C to inquire into the significance of names.

This short film was recorded by Channel 4 in 1999. It shows James Nottingham’s class of 9 and 10 year olds using P4C to develop critical, creative, caring and collaborative thinking.
